Who may take the tests?
A Plus Certification is open to anyone. The A Plus exam is targeted for entry-level computer service technicians with at least 6 months on-the-job experience. No specific requirements are necessary, except payment of the testing fee.
The A Plus test is available throughout the world in Spanish, French, German, and Japanese.
A plus Certification shows competency in troubleshooting hardware for IBM Compatibles and/or Macintosh using MS-DOS, MS Windows, or Mac OS software.
